First Aid at Work (FAW) Requalification 

All trained First Aiders must update their qualifications periodically. Completing this course within 28 days after your current one expires will extend your existing First Aid at Work (FAW) certification for an additional 3 years.

This regulated qualification aligns with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, equipping learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to address First Aid incidents in both low and high-risk settings.

 Course Contents 

  1. Understand the duties and obligations of a First Aider

  2. Handle an unconscious casualty

  3. Identify and aid a choking casualty

  4. Address external bleeding in a casualty

  5. Assist a casualty experiencing shock

  6. Tend to a casualty with minor injuries

  7. Conduct a follow-up assessment

  8. Administer First Aid to a casualty with bone, muscle, and joint injuries

  9. Administer First Aid to a casualty with burns and scalds

  10. Provide First Aid to a casualty with an eye injury

  11. Respond to a casualty experiencing sudden poisoning

  12. Address anaphylactic shock in a casualty

  13. Offer First Aid to a casualty displaying symptoms of major illness
